TOWN OF BABYLON

Fall Festival

The town will hold its annual Fall Festival at Town Hall starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday. Attractions include hay rides, pumpkin patches, petting zoos, games, musical entertainment and more. Admission is free.

Babylon

Witchcraft History

West Babylon Library will host a historical discussion on witchcraft's history on our home of Long Island at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Heritage Walk

The Babylon Village Heritage Conservancy will be hosting their first Heritage Walk throughout the village on Sunday. The first 20 participants who sign up and complete the walk will receive vouchers for a produce discount at the market, offered by the "Creating Healthy Places in Suffolk County" initiative. Sign ups will take place for the roughly two mile walk at the Farmer's Market that morning before leaving at 9 a.m.

Patchogue

Oh What A Night! Tribute to the Legends Series Event - The Four Seasons

This musical tribute to the music of the Four Seasons and the legends of the early 1960s will feature performances by Playground, The Acchords, The Fellas, and Michael D'Amore & Angel Rissoff. Show taking place at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, 71 E. Main St. in Patchogue, Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $42-$75.

JPBlues Plays At Bobbique

Southern-based blues-rock group playing the 70 W. Main St. Patchogue restaurant Saturday from 8 p.m.-midnight. No cover


Sayville-Bayport

On Sunday, Oct. 13 the Bayport-Blue Point Library is hosting a musical event. Homegrown Two is an acoustic Americana duo whose music celebrates the spirit of songcatchers and composers from Frances Child and Stephan Foster to Harry Smith and Bob Dylan. Their repertoire of traditional and original material is performed using a variety of acoustic instruments including guitar, banjo, mountain dulcimer, doumbek, banjo ukulele, jaw harp, and harmonica. A Psychic Night, featuring Jeffrey Wands, will be held at the Sayville VFW Post, at 400 Lakeland Avenue in Sayville on Sat. Oct. 12 starting at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Tickets are $35.00 per person and available by emailing secretary@communityamb.org or calling (631) 567-2586.  

Entertainment

On Sunday Oct. 13 join Join Naomi Zeitlin at the Sayville Library at 2 p.m. for a performance of the songs that Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand have either popularized or loved to sing. She’ll also be sharing information about the songs and about these two iconic talents and, as with so many of her programs, the audience should also be prepared to be quizzed!
