The cold front that hit late last week and the weekend promises to continue, according to weather.com, which predicts mostly sunny days this week with snow possible on Tuesday. While daytime temps are expected to be mid to high 30s and even hit 41 on Thursday, nights will be chilly and likely below freezing.

Islip Town Meetings

The Town of Islip Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Islip Town Hall.

The Town of Islip Planning Board will meet Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Islip Town Hall.
