West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition Donates $15K to Good Sam Hospital

Donation brings the coalition's total to $300,000 to support the hospital's Breast Health Services.

Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center recently recognized the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition for a donation of $15,000 at its annual Hospitality Night.

At the ceremony held at Timber Point Country Club, the coalition was among several other organizations to be recognized for their support of Good Samaritan's services. To date, the coaltion has donated more than $300,000 to the hospital's Breast Health Services.

Good Samaritan has earned a three-year/full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. The hosital's nurse navigators guide patients from the moment of diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship, helping them to overcome obstacles they may face.
