Local Womens Groups To Tee Off For Charity Softball Game
Women of West Islip and Babylon Village Women's Club will host the first Battle By The Bay to benefit the Lustgarten Foundation.
Two local women's groups are facing off in a charity softball game to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer research.
The and The Babylon Village Women's Club will co-host the inaugural Battle By The Bay on Friday, Sept. 7 at the Locust Avenue Fields in Babylon Village.
Festivities will incude a concession stand, a 50/50 raffle and basket prizes from local shops and restaurants. The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m., and the first pitch will be thrown at 7 p.m.

Admission is free and donations will be accepted.
