Patch thinks there are few better ways of kicking off the holiday shopping season than patronizing local businesses while supporting a great community organization and that's exactly the scenario Thursday night at the West Islip Fire Department.
The Women of West Islip will host a brand-new fundraiser, a Ladies Night of Shopping, at the fire house with over 30 vendors participating. Doors open at 7 p.m. and a donation of $5 is requested. The funds raised will go toward community groups and activities that WOWI supports throughout the year.
