WI Alumni Lacrosse Report: Braddish Continues Scoring Spree

A look at how former West Islip High School lacrosse players fared for their new schools this past week.

Every Monday during the college lacrosse season, Patch will update you on the progress of former players.  Since there's so many to count, we won't be listing every player each week.

Player of the Week: Ian Braddish (Hofstra, So.)

In a 9-4 victory over No. 20 Penn State on Saturday night, the sophomore transfer tallied a hat trick and one assist for the eighth-ranked Hofstra Pride.  Sure it was another big game against a top-25 opponent, but more importantly, the win gave the Pride the CAA regular season crown.

Braddish continues to be on one of the hottest scoring streaks in nation; it was his seventh consecutive game with at least three points.

Devan Crimi (Adelphi, Fr.)

The top-ranked Adelphi Panters continued their dominance this past week, as did Crimi.  The freshman sensation turned in a five-point (two goals, three assists) performance in a 21-6 win against New Hampshire on Wednesday, then added two more goals and another assist in a 25-3 victory at So. New Hampshire on Saturday.

Peter Mezzanotte (Towson, Sr.)

Mezzanotte recorded two goals and two assists in a lopsided 15-2 win against St. Joseph's on Saturday.  It was the Tigers' first victory since March 19th and only their second of the season.

Lauren Spagnoletta (C.W. Post, Jr.)

A four goal outing for the star junior put the Pioneers back in the win column on Saturday, as eighth-ranked Post knocked off No. 13 Merrimack 16-8.  Spagnoletta leads her team in points (58) and goals (51).

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abidingRead More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Has anyone been able to find out if we are losing money renting this building to this for profitRead More preschool? If I under stood correctly from previous post's, there may be some friendship with one or more BOE members which paved the way for their lease.
