Last week marked the end of the regular season for most varsity sports, which means playoff action is underway.
Below is a look at which West Islip High School teams qualified for their postseasons and when they'll play.
FIELD HOCKEY
Record:7-7
Playoff seed: No. 7
The Lady Lions will host No. 10 Commack High School Monday at 2:30 p.m.
FOOTBALL
Record: 7-1
Playoff seed: No. 3
The boys football team, which moved up to Division I this season, will host No. 6 Sachem East this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. If you remember, the Lions already .
GIRLS SOCCER
Record: 13-3
Playoff seed: AA No. 4
The girls soccer team will be vying for yet another spot in the League II Suffolk finals this year. They'll get the postseason started on Monday when they host No. 13 Sachem East at 2:30 p.m.
BOYS SOCCER
Record: 13-1-2
Playoff seed: No. 6
After a tremendous regular season, the boys will host No. 11 North Babylon Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. to get their playoffs started.
