Grooming Tomorrow's Lacrosse Stars
West Islip lacrosse camp instructs youngsters on the finer points of the game.
The West Islip Lacrosse Camp continues this week at the high school and library fields. Run by Scott Craig, varsity head coach, and Bill Turri, varsity assistant head coach, the annual camp is now in its 27th year and provides youngsters an opportunity to work with top high school coaches and players.
This week's camp is for third graders through seventh graders. Next week's camp is for 8th graders to 11th graders and will include former West Islip High School greats Nicky Galasso, Justin Turri, Kyle Turri and Andrew Hodgson among others who will serve as camp instructors.
