ICE OLYMPICS

Why not escape the HEAT with an ice cold treat and help raise funds  for 16 year old USA Luge Junior National Candidate Team member and West Islip resident:Aidan Kelly. Head on down to Rita's in East Islip (105 East Main Street, E.Islip) on Tuesday evening from 6-9pm.  There are contests, raffles and patriotic themed ice and misto specials.

Try your Ice Eating Skills with a Ice Eating Contest Relay (there's one for adults and one for kids under 12).  Only 8 teams may participate and each team needs 4 eaters.

A Blind Ice Taste Test Contest where 10 people may participate. Each taster will get a sample of ice blindfolded, they will write down the flavor, after each round incorrect answers are eliminated until there is a winner OR until all flavors for the day have been tasted. How many rounds do you think it will take to determine the winner?

A Frozen T-Shirt Contest only 6 people may participate. Each participant will be given a frozen rolled up t-shirt. Unroll the shirt an put it on over the shirt they are wearing.

Look No Hands is a contest where 8 people must eat ice from a pie tin filled with ice using their mouth only, with their hands behind their back.  The winner must finish the pie tin completely.

And lastly time to test out your scooping skills with an Ice Scooping Relay.  4 teams may participate and each team will need 4 runners.  The catch...each runner can only use 1 hand, the other hand must be behind his/her back.  

Game registration begins at 6pm and registration for each game is on a first come, first serve basis!
