West Islip Lions Honor Veterans During Football Game
A 100 percent of the game's proceeds will help a local veteran.
The West Islip High School Varsity Football squad honored local veterans during their game this past weekend against Half Hollows Hills West.
The event honored the 911 Veterans group and paid tribute to veterans for their service and sacrifice. A 100 percent of donations raised during the game will go toward helping a Long Island veteran. There was also a vehicle display at the event.
