A number of parents have contacted Patch regarding issues with the school bus system throughout the first week of school, particularly complaining of major delays both to and from school.
One parent wrote on our Facebook Page: "Our kids got dropped off home 30 minutes late from Manetuck and we live 5 blocks away."
Another reader, , claimed his child was placed on the wrong bus. "I am sure it was great for most kids but unfortunately my son was sent home on the WRONG Bus," he said.
While a few kinks are to be expected during the first week of school, parents are concerned that there is a bigger issue, with some saying the are to blame.
