Former WIHS LAX Star Nobile Enjoying Time At Marquette

Following transfer from Hofstra, defenseman takes leadership role for the Golden Eagles.

West Islip High School graduate Jerry Nobile is proving to be a leader on Marquette University’s up-and-coming men’s lacrosse team.

Recently The Marquette Tribune spoke with the former West Islip lacrosse star about his transfer to Marquette from Hofstra University.

Nobile’s shift to the Milwaukee-based school was a difficult one for him as he moved away from his parents, both of whom are hearing impaired.

“It was hard to let go of that and have the strength to come to Marquette,” Nobile told The Marquette Tribune. “All in all I’m happy, and my parents are proud of me.”

Read the story on Nobile, a member of the high school’s 2009 graduating class, in The Marquette Tribune.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abidingRead More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Has anyone been able to find out if we are losing money renting this building to this for profitRead More preschool? If I under stood correctly from previous post's, there may be some friendship with one or more BOE members which paved the way for their lease.
