Lauren Koepke, a student at Paul J. Bellew Elementary School in West Islip, was a winner of the Town of Islip Earth Day Poster Contest. Lauren, a 3rd grader, designed her winning poster as part of Bellew's Recycling Club. Lauren was honored at a ceremony at Gillette Park in Sayville and received a t-shirt, plaque, and gift card as a prize.
