Bayview Elementary Raises Over $900 for Breast Cancer Research

Students created handmade bracelets to sell for fundraiser.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, fifth grade students at Bayview Elementary School sold Rainbow Loom bracelets for $1 each during the lunch periods.

The students hand-made these bracelets in order to raise money for breast cancer research. Prior to the event, the students visited each classroom and spoke about their goal and desire to raise money for such a great cause.

The students and their efforts raised over $900 in honor of all those who have fought and are still fighting breast cancer. Bayview Elementary thanks Mia M., Sophia A., Sophia C., Sara D., Lauren B., Maria P., Ashley A., Olivia M., Kayla R., Julia L., Kayla R., Gabriella A., Maggie D., Victoria O., Alex R., Sophia L., Heather C., and Stephen D.
