2012-13 Budget Dates Set

The West Islip School District has released the dates and times of all their 2012-13 budget meetings.  

Make sure to check with Patch following each meeting for coverage in case you can't make them.   

• Thursday, March 15 – Budget Worksession (7:30 p.m., Beach Street cafeteria)
• Thursday, March 22 – Budget Worksession (7:30 p.m., Beach Street cafeteria).  Planning session to follow. 
• Thursday, March 29 – Budget Worksession (7:30 p.m., Beach Street cafeteria)
• Thursday, April 3 - Budget Worksession (7:30 p.m., Beach Street cafeteria)

• Monday, April 16 – Nominating Petitions for Board Trustee seats due at District Office by 5 p.m.  
• Wednesday, April 18 – Budget Adoption and Board Meeting (8 p.m., WIHS Auditorium)
• Tuesday, May 1 – Budget Available for Residents
• Tuesday, May 8 – Public Budget Hearing and Board Meeting and final Voter Registration (7 p.m., WIHS)
• Tuesday, May 15 – Annual Budget Vote (6 a.m.-10 p.m., multiple locations).
