Elections are just around the corner and campaigns are in full swing.
In the Town of Islip, Republicans currently hold all five seats on the Town Board. Two of those seats are up for grabs in November.
Incumbents Steve Flotteron and Trish Bergin Weichbrodt are being challenged this year by Democrats Astrid Fidelia and George Hafele.
All 18 seats in the Suffolk County Legislature are also up for grabs.
