Police: Man Found Shot to Death in Car in Brentwood

Man found dead inside car riddled with bullet holes, police say.

Police are investigating the shooting death of a man who was found in a parked car in Brentwood Monday morning. 

Third Precinct officers responded after a 911 caller reported a man injured inside a vehicle with bullet holes through the car’s window in front of 152 Twinlawns Avenue.  

Officers found a man inside the Nissan Sentra dead of a gunshot wound at about 6:20 a.m., police said. 

The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, police said. 

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
