UPDATE: Body Found on West Islip Street
Body of adult man was discovered on Sandra Avenue early Monday, police said.

ORIGINAL: The body of an apparent hit-and-run victim was discovered on a street in West Islip early Monday morning, according to Suffolk County police.
The victim, an adult man, was found on Sandra Avenue just after midnight, a police spokeswoman said.
