Assault, Larceny Reported in Local Police Blotter
Arrests and incidents reported by the Third Precinct of the SCPD between August 25-September 3.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrests
- On August 25, Anthony Boggs, of West Bay Shore, was arrested in West Islip and charged with harassment.
- On August 27, Craig Dellavecchia Jr., of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with assault.
- On August 31, James Dearinger, of Bay Shore, was arrested in West Islip and charged with petit larceny.

- On August 27, there was a report of assault on McCall Avenue at 5:55 a.m.
- On August 28, there was a report of harassment on Orinoco Drive at 4:30 p.m.
- On August 29, there was a report of criminal mischief on Kurzon Road at 11 p.m.
- On August 30, there was a report of harassment on Alwick Avenue at 11:15 p.m.
