Grand Larceny, Harassment Highlight Local Crime Report
Arrests reported by the Third Precinct of the SCPD between July 15- 22
The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below.
- On July 15, William Janssen, of Hauppauge, was arrested in West Islip for harassment; physical contact.
- On July 15, Patrick Lyons, of West Islip, was arrested for criminal trespassing.
- On July 17, Steven Fritz, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip for criminal possession of stolen property.
- On July 18, Gerard III Magee, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip for harassment; physical contact.
- On July 19, Carlos Constantine Correa, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip for scheme to defraud in the first degree.
- On July 21, Kyle Schmitt, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip for grand larceny in the fourth degree (credit card) and possession of hypodermic instruments.
