DWI, Car Theft Reported In Local Police Blotter

Arrests reported by the Third Precinct of the SCPD between Feb. 5-12.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below.

Arrests

  • On February 2nd, Daniel Hock, from West Islip, was arrested in West Islip for Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.
  • On February 4th, Jean Boyles, from West Islip, was arrested in Smithtown for Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree.
  • On February 5th, Jacqueline Schulman, from West Islip, was arrested in West Islip for Harassment in the Second Degree.
  • On February 5th, Janelle Curella, from West Islip, was arrested in BLue Point for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08 of 1%. First offence.
  • On February 8th, Jhamal Mitchell, from Bayshore, was arrested in West Babylon for Use of a Vehicle Without the Owner's Consent.

  • On February 5th, there was a report of Harassment at Ember Lane at 12:51 a.m.
  • On February 7th, there was a report of Grand Larceny at Malts Avenue at 12:00 p.m.
  • On February 8th, there was a report of Grand Larceny at McCall Avenue at 12:00 p.m.
  • On February 8th, there was a report of Harassment at North Sunrise Highway at 4:30 p.m.
