Driver Tears Through Building in West Islip
Car drove straight through a structure on the property of Netter Real Estate.
An out-of-control driver tore through a building on the property of a real estate agent in West Islip Sunday.
Newsday reports that the driver suffered a medical emergency, which caused the crash at the site of Netter Real Estate on Montauk Highway.
The driver, whose name authorities did not release, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital following the crash.
The building was reported to be unoccupied at the time. No charges were filed in the collision.
It is not clear if the business will remain closed Tuesday.
