Residents can donate dinners to the family of Thomas Labetti, who was hit by a car last week.

Mebers of the West Islip community have set up a schedule to donate dinners to the Labetti family, who were struck by tragedy when their 15-year-old son was hit by a car as he rode on his bike last week.

Thomas Labetti riding southbound on Udall Road, near Pine Avenue, when he was struck by an SUV September 11. Labetti is currently undergoing treatment for severe internal injuries at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

To help the Labetti family during this difficult time, a meal donation schedule has been organized online through CareCalendar.org, where individuals can register to cook dinner and drop it off at the hospital on a particular night.

Currently, the dinner calendar is booked through mid-October.

Those looking to donate a meal to the family can register by visiting CareCalendar.org and inputting the following information:

Calendar ID : 124904
Security Code: 1463

Meals should be dropped off at the Front Desk at the hospital.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abidingRead More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
