Tikkun Long Island Hosts 'Heal a Heart | Save a Future'

Tikkun Long Island is a recently formed nonprofit organization dedicated to help youth who are hurting and in need of healing .

Most of the young people we work with have been extremely harmed and have lived lives in which they felt trapped. 

Some are orphans, some have been in jail, some have family members in jail, and others are in the foster-care system against their will.

We are currently raising money to provide mentoring services to children who are in foster care. On May 5, 2014 we will be hosting a fundraising event at Nonnina Italian Bistro in West Islip at 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Tickets are $100.  There will be hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine, a silent auction accompanied by music and good cheer!  We are also seeking donations of goods and services to be auctioned off at this event.
