When it rains…

The situation just got worse for the New York Giants.  Aside from having to go on the road.  Aside from having to play an undefeated team.  The Giants now must attempt to resurrect their season with an undermanned offensive line.  Both their starting center and right guard will not be able to play against the Chiefs.

Last week the offensive line had a difficult time doing what they are supposed to do: Open holes for the running backs and protect the passer.  Against Carolina, the Giants only produced 150 total yards of offense.   Quarterback Eli Manning was sacked 7 times.  Now they will have to improve that production with a revised offensive line.

In the NFL, organizations that cannot conquer injuries have little success.  As a team the Giants have to find a way to overcome their impairments:  Step up the snap count.  Run quicker hitting plays.   Keep a back in to block.
