Check out what's on tap at the West Islip Public Library.

Here’s what’s happening Tuesday at the West Islip Public Library.

A program on Landmarks and Historic Sites of Long Island will be presented at 7 p.m. Author/historian Ralph Brady will showcase more than 50 historic sites of Long Island’s past with commentary and photographs. He will also present a PowerPoint demonstration beginning with the seventeenth century, going through World War II and into America’s space program.

Also, the Teen Volunteer Workshop will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees will complete a fun and creative project that will be donated to deserving members of the West Islip community. A Volunteer Service Certificate will be given to each participant.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abidingRead More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
