March 23: What's Happening Today?

Check this list everyday for a glimpse at what's happening around West Islip... from school events to sports games and Town of Islip functions, there is a sampling of everything.

3. Acoustic Open Mic Night (9 p.m.-1 a.m., Biddy Sratts)

Check out the weekly acoustic open mic night in a comfortable setting.  Sign ups begin at 8 p.m., and the event is free to all.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the library will look back on the life of the courageous Amelia Earhart. The presentation will focus exclusively on old photos and stories.
