March 22: Athletic Budget Worksession, Student-Teacher Talent Show

Five things you should know for Thursday, March 22.

1. The third West Islip School District budget worksession starts tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. The will be up for discussion.

2. Looking to be entertained? Head over to the high school tonight for the . Watch faculty and students team up for a live show. We even hear there will be a pie eating contest. The show starts at 6:30 p.m., admission is $5. All proceeds will benefit Angela's House and the American Sign Language Honor Society.

3. The West Islip Involved Teens Council of the is collecting for the Town of Islip Animal Shelter. Simply drop off your donation in the box located near the Circulation Desk.

4. Also at the library, children ages 3 and a half through Pre-K are invited to attend from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. No registration is required.

This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray.
