Feb. 9: Open Mic Night, Teens Night Out, SEPTA Meeting

Check this list everyday for a glimpse at what's happening around West Islip... from school events to sports games and Town of Islip functions, there is a sampling of everything.

1.  Teens Night Out: Heart Button Bag (7-8 p.m., Library)

Design your own personal tote bag for Valentine's Day.  $3 material fee.

2.  SEPTA Meeting (7 p.m., Westbrook Elementary School)

Speical Education Parent Teacher Association will conduct monthly meeting at Westbrook.

3.  Caregivers Support Group (11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Good Samaritan)

4.  Open Mic Night (9 p.m.-1 a.m., Biddy Sratts)

Check out the weekly acoustic open mic night in a comfortable setting.  Sign ups begin at 8 p.m., and the event is free to all.
