Check this list everyday for a glimpse at what's happening around West Islip... from school events to sports games and Town of Islip functions, there is a sampling of everything.

• The cheapest gas in West Islip can be found at the Valero station (225 Higbie Ln & West Islip Blvd), where they're offering regular for $3.97 per gallon, according to ligasprices.com.  Delta and Gas Stop both come in second with a price tag of $4.05 per gallon.
