April 11: AARP Tax Help, Varsity Schedule

Check this list everyday for a glimpse at what's happening around West Islip... from school events to sports games and Town of Islip functions, there is a sampling of everything.

1. AARP Tax Sessions at the Library (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) by appointment only.  AARP volunteers will be at the library to help with your 2010 Income Tax forms. Please bring copies of your 2009 Income Tax returns and all necessary receipts, pay stubs, etc. with you. Make appointments by calling 661-7080 and asking for the Reference Desk.  Patrons without appointments will only be assisted with their tax forms if time permits.
2. Look out for our Monday lacrosse column this afternoon.  We'll catch you up with standout alumni performances  from this past week.
