Roots Bistro Gourmand Hosts Dinner and Wine Pairing

The six-course pairing takes place at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Roots Bistro Gourmand is offering a French-inspired tasting menu and wine pairing tonight at 6 p.m.

The six-course menu includes traditional French delicacies like frog legs, escargot and rabbit. A wine representative will be on hand to discuss each wine pairing throughout the meal.

The eatery, located on Montauk Highway at the former Parkwood Cafe, opened in late August.

Dinner costs $90 per person. Call (631) 587-2844 to make a reservation.

This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
