Gas Prices Back On the Rise

Several stations still offering regular for less than $3.50 per gallon.

Bad news for residents; WI gas prices are on the rise, according to  LongIslandGasPrices.com.

Although the average LI price of $3.53 is only a 2 cents hike from last week, the popular fuel website said we can expect that number to rise in the short future. 

But don't get too worried, Valero and Gas Stop are still offering highly competitive prices--$3.43--for regular.  That number is just 4 cents higher than our , where we noted a 9-month low in area prices.

The cheapest gas on Long Island can be found at a Hess in Port Jeff Station, where they're offering regular for $3.33.  The most expensive?  A Mobil in Long Beach is charging customers $3.99 a gallon.
