West Islip Gift Retailer Celebrating 25 Years in Business

West Islip's Hawley Corner Gift Shop is celebrating its 25th year in business and owner Maria Pecorale attributes its longstanding retail success to quality merchandise as well as some specialized services that have gone the wayside in many shops.

“We offer free gift wrapping and free custom personalization services,” said the West Islip resident who’s lived in the community with her husband of 48 years, Anthony, for 47 years.

Crunch Gym Opening New Location in West Babylon

It's time to get physical – Crunch Gym will be opening a new fitness club on Little East Neck Road in West Babylon.

The new gym will replace a vacant storefront that was formerly operated as Rite Aid over two years ago. The spot has remained empty ever since the pharmacy was closed.
