Monday's Events: What's Happening in West Islip

Children's programs at the library, classic car cruise.

Monday will end the clear and sunny weather we've seen for over a week now with a chance of isolated thunderstorms throughout the day in West Islip. Chances are expected to increase into the night time hours, so keep an umbrella handy. Highs, however, are expected to stay low with increased cloud cover – around 79° during the day.

At the , parents can take their little ones to at 10:30 a.m.-11:15 a.m. and11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

is hosting its monthly "" program, which helps women cope with the effects of their treatments. The Meeting will take place in the second floor annex conference room at 6:30 p.m.

 will be hosting a  at 5:00 p.m. Come out and see antique cars and souped up autos from the 50's, 60's, 70's and more!

Also at the library, is open to kids starting at 6:30 p.m., and adults can learn about in room A at 7 p.m.

This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray.
