Lost Dog: Have You Seen Mumford?

Five-month old puppy was last seen on Higbie Lane in West Islip on Sunday morning.

A West Islip resident is asking neighbors for help in locating her family's beloved dog Mumford.

The black lab-Newfoundland mix was last seen on the morning of August 25 near Higbie Lane in West Islip, his owner Lauren Stanton-Gladd told Patch.

The five-month-old puppy is described as having mostly black fur and a bit of white hair on his chest with wavy hair down the middle of his back.
Stanton-Gladd described Mumford as a friendly puppy weighing about 50 pounds.

The dog was not wearing its collar at the time it was lost.
