Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a Time to Honor Someone

Purchase a ribbon in someone's memory.

Shown are photos of the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition's third annual Pink Flags of October event in cooperation with Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip.

It represents community awareness for those who were affected by breast cancer.

It is a way of honoring someone who is a survivor, or in memory of someone who was taken by breast cancer. Almost 400 flags surround the front of GSH.

For more information how you can purchase a ribbon to fly on it's own flag please contact West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition, 631-669-7770, or visit this website.
