The Bridges Academy, the new West Islip-based private school, is hosting a Spring Open House this Sunday, May 19th from 1:00-4:00PM where prospective parents can tour the school and meet with teachers and Headmaster.
Bridges is accepting applications for Early Learning (ages 2-4) and grades K-8. The Spring Open House promises to give parents a glimpse into the school’s academically accelerated curriculum that includes foreign languages, science, math, robotics, fine arts and an association with a one acre organic farm. Class sizes at Bridges are capped at 18 students.
Bridges came about through a grassroots effort led by educators, parents and community leaders to bring the South Shore a premiere, fully independent school fully accredited by the NYS Board of Regents and NYS Board of Education.
