The Long Island Drowning Prevention Task Force a Chapter of the NDPA(National Drowning Prevention Alliance) was created to help save children's lives. By educating every parent or caregiver about proper water safety guidelines we can and will save a child's life!

Our Water Safety,Water SMART booklets have Message to Parents, Facts, Layers of Protection, a Safety checklist, What to Do, and Where to Find info on swimming lessons,CPR,pool safety equipment, and fencing.

We are also actively pursuing legislation to bring a water safety curriculum to Long Island scholl systems for grades k-2.

Coopertive efforts from Safe Kids New York State/Nassau County led by North Shore-LIJ Health Systems along with Steven & Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center, Safe Kids Suffolk County led by Stony Brook Children's Hospital, and Saf-T-Swim

We have partnered with National Drowning Prevention Alliaince(NDPA), Swim  For Life Foundation (Safer 3), Water Smart Babies, and the Stew Leonards Children Foundation.

 The Suffolk & Nassua County library system, Fire Departments, the State Parks and Recreation, Pool Companies, Summer Camps, Swim Schools, and local Pediatricians are  some of our distribution partners.
