West Islip High School, located at 1 Lions Path in West Islip, strives to offer a complete educational experience toMore its students. While students are challenged academically, they are also able to take advantage of numerous clubs and extracurricular activities as well as sports teams. The West Islip Lions have a strong tradition in sports. 

The principal of West Islip High School is Dr. Anthony Bridgeman. The associate principal is Ellen Quaglio and the administrative dean is Joann Hilbert. 

For those students who are part of the 2004 cohort (they entered ninth grade at West Islip High School in 2004), 98 percent earned a local or Regents diplomas by August 31, 2008. 

The Class of 2009 had 456 graduates of which 59 percent went on to a four-year colleges or universities and 34 percent went on to a two-year college. Some West Islip graduates go on to the best colleges and universities in the country.

The Udall Road Middle School, located at 900 Udall Road in West Isip, is one of two middle schools in the West IslipMore School District. After graduating from elementary school, students spend sixth through eighth grade in middle school. During this time students are prepared for the challenges that await them at West Islip High School. The Udall Road Middle School offers students a vast array of sports teams, student activities and extracurricular clubs to enhance their educational experience. The principal is Daniel Marquardt and the assistant principal is Salvatore Alaimo.

The Beach Street Middle School is one of two middle schools in the West Islip School District; the other being theMore Udall Road Middle School. The school services students from sixth to eighth grade, before they go off to continue their academic careers at West Islip High School.

The Beach Street Middle School offers students a complete educational opportunity. In addition to core classes, students will have the opportunity to enrich their education with an array of clubs, organizations, activities and sports teams.

The principal is Andrew O'Farrell and the assistant principal is Lisa Martinolich.
