West Islip Traffic Code Hearing, Theatre Production Debut on Tap This Week

No polar vortex in sight.

As mid January arrives, events around town and school are getting completely back into swing. Patch wants to help readers stay on top of all the activity and offers up this week ahead guide:

Chilly But No Frigid Temps

This week’s weather doesn’t boast the frigid temps that showed up about a week ago. Rain is expected mid week, with temps ranging between 38 and 43 degrees, and there’s a chance of sunny weather on Friday. It’s still going to be a bit chilly at night, about 30 degrees as the week progresses, so keep that extra blanket handy.
