The West Islip Hoops Club is rocking out for a good cause.
The athletic booster club will host a benefit concert featuring Big Shot in the Dr. Salvatore G. Frioe Performaing Arts Center at West Islip High School on Saturday, Oct. 20.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the WIHS varsity and junior varsity basketball and football teams as well as the cheer association.
Prior to the concert, the girls varsity softball will hold a chinese auction with all proceeds going directly to their team.
VIP tickets are $35 and general admission is $25. Anyone who buys a ticket will be entered into a bonus raffle for the chance to win a 42" flat screen TV.
