The harrowing story of wrapped in a plastic trash bag and tossed from a moving car in Brentwood Saturday is quickly going viral, capturing the attention and hearts of across Long Island.
A video of the three-month-old puppy eagerly eating his breakfast Thursday morning has been posted on YouTube.
The clip was posted by the staff at in West Islip, where Joey is currently being treated for a broken neck, bite marks and other injuries.
Fans and supporters also created a Facebook fan page for Joey on Tuesday, called "Save The Brentwood Dog." It has already garnered 320 likes.
