P.S. I Love You Founder Receives Kohl's Scholarship

Brooke DiPalma awarded $1,000 through Kohl's Cares program.

West Islip student Brooke DiPalma is one of 14 New York teens to receive a scholarship through Kohl's Department stores.

DiPalma, who will be entering her junior year at West Islip High School this fall, started the following her father's suicide in April 2010. The cause offers support to those battling depression and self-harm through viral YouTube videos and an .

The Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program awarded DiPalma $1,000 to be used toward her post-secondary education. She was among a small percentage chosen from 35,000 nominees nationwide for making a positive impact in the local community.
