Local organization collected backpacks for children in need.
Helping Hands in West Islip, Inc. climbed aboard the Intrepid recently to collect backpacks for children in need.
The organization, which collects items for children and distributes them to more than 22 charities, were there for a backpack drive for the Association of Legal Administrators, N.Y.C.
