     Are you going back to school, switching jobs, want to brush up on your skills, learn something new, or test your knowledge?  Do you need professional assistance in resume/cover letter writing, U.S. citizenship preparation, Microsoft Office help, or studying for the GED test?  Suffolk County Public Libraries are offering adults the opportunity to receive help in these areas, at no cost, with a live tutor through The Adult Learning center via Live-brary.com. Live Study Help provides one-on-one academic coaching, practice test center and online resources to help you achieve your learning and career goals. 

The Adult Learning Center offers Live Tutoring, Skills Building, a 24/7 Writing Lab, a 24/7 Question Center, GED preparation, Career Resources, U.S. Citizenship Prep, and a Microsoft Office Essential Skills Series.

Live Tutoring allows learners to freely ask academic questions. Skills Building provides the opportunity for a structured session that focuses on specific academic skills. 

The 24-Hour Writing Lab allows you to submit essays and other forms of writing for constructive feedback within one business day.  The 24/7 Question Center is available for uses that have questions outside of regular service hours or need a more detailed explanation of a difficult question or concept.
