Federico produced some incredible highlight-reel punt returns, runs and catches for the Lions this past year (check the video for evidence).  He'll now devote his ankle-breaking talents and leadership to the lacrosse team, where he'll help defend their NYS title.

"If Drew had the ball in his hands out team was in a better place. He can just make people miss like it was his job," Mileti said.  "His elusiveness and quickness combined with his athleticism was second to none.

"It was like having another coach on the field at all times. I can only hope that the juniors, and sophomores have learned by watching Drew. West Islip Football will miss his presence on and off the field next year."
