The West Islip girls’ lacrosse team defeated West Babylon 17-11 Monday in a game played through intermittent showers at West Babylon High School. Senior Erin Byrnes set a school record with nine goals and an assist. The Lions travel to Bay Shore to play the Marauders in the semi-finals on Wednesday.
