West Islip Softball Juniors Clinch Long Island Championship

Team heads upstate this weekend to compete in the State Championship.

Congratulations to the West Islip Little League Junior Softball team, who on Saturday July 20 the Williamsport Long Island Championship by defeating Hicksville by a score of 9-2. 

The team will travel to Chatham, New York where this weekend they will play for the New York State Championship. 

This great group of girls have been playing little league together as early as T-ball as first and second graders. Now as young ladies, they have the opportunity to represent West Islip Little League on the State level fastpitch softball stage. Way to go girls! Have fun and good luck!
