The members of the Islip Town Board recently honored Aiden Kelly, of West Islip, for his recent achievements at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
Kelly, though just 18 years old, won a spot on the American luge team and represented his country admirably during his overseas adventure. Kelly finished 24th at the Olympics, a remarkable achievement given that many of his competitors have been competing since Kelly was in elementary school.
